It has been so so so hot here - on Sunday it was still 22 on the shady side of the house at 11pm! It has been a bit stressful trying to keep the baby cool enough - I think he is like his mother and prone to overheating. However, the paddling pool sure does help.
We also went to the "beach" on Sunday so I could swim in the sea - was actually a boat house on the still water (no waves here unless big storm). Made me very homesick for a beach but was so lovely to swim. Mattias however was way too hot and did not enjoy the experience at all, his overheated state impeded his ability to handle all the new faces and if anyone so much as looked at him he would meltdown and scream.
Last night we had a glorious thunderstorm, the smell, the light, the colours and the sounds were just incredible.
