Little Christmas baskets

We did Christmas gift baskets for a few people. We mostly picked up some food treats at the store, there is one supermarket that sells locally made goodies and things that are a little bit nicer or different, this is where I occasionally find a butternut squash - as in once a year. They also had tamarillos once but they looked rather nasty so I left them be.

But I also made two types of truffles - chocolate cognac and marzipan and fig. The hardest part was rolling them into balls - my super hot hands caused a bit of meltage.
