The Atlantic Ocean Road

The blah blah blah:

"The Atlantic Ocean Road is a scenic eight kilometre stretch along highway Rv64 between Molde and Kristiansund in the county of Møre and Romsdal. The road between Vevang and Averøy takes you over 12 bridges and embankments from islet to islet out to every point where the land ends and the ocean begins. Hustadvika, an infamous stretch of ocean, is an unforgettable experience whatever the weather. In storm, however, you will experience nature's wrath at its most dramatic."

I have now done this road... six times.

In December 2006, shortly after we arrived, with Parents-In-Law.

In May 2007 with Mum and Auntie.

Hail - not snow, but we'll let those antipodean tourists enjoy their fun!

In November 2007 with Miss Rebecca.

We saw a sea eagle.

In January 2008 with Older Brother.

Two things to note in this photo: The time on the car clock is 11:21am and look at that beautiful dawn light! Secondly, that is me on the right and that is not my hair, it is super super cold and I am wearing big cosy jacket with fluffy hood.

That day we saw three otters running across the road in front of the car. One of my wildlife highlights so far.

I July 2008 with Mr and Mrs Welch.

And yesterday with Miss Potter.
