Another Sunday, another mountain...

We drove up to Silset and walked up a mountain and along a ridge and had a little picnic. The walking was slow going - not because of my fitness (or lack thereof) but because of the huge and really sweet blueberries that I just had to stop and munch on the whole way.

Was a really warm, beautiful day so when we came down we stopped at the cabin for a little while and I swam in the lake (the one you can see in the photo with Mr T). I think that will definitely be the last time this year though - it was very refreshing but also a bit painful cold.

Some of the trees are starting to get a hint of red and yellow and the blueberry bushes are getting red. I feel conflicted with excitement at the arrival of autumn, which is such a beautiful season, and sadness at of the end of summer for another year. But we have had an amazing summer this year so I feel far more "ready" for winter.
